Your guests can return their containers at any restaurant or café connected to Panter. In order for returning to work, you need to have a return sign either on display or easily accessible from the counter so that you can show it to guests upon request.
To return any container, the guest simply:
Scans the return sign
Scans the the container itself
Leaves the container either to your staff or at a designated return place (such as dish tray or similar)
The order in which the sign and container is scanned doesn't matter.
Once the guest has completed the return, the container will automatically appear in the digital inventory of the restaurant or café that received the return.
No additional scanning by the venue is required.
Once the containers has been returned, make sure to wash the container according to good safety and hygiene practice before lending it to future guests.
If a container is damaged, misses a QR-code or is worn out, you can register it as damaged in the merchant app and put it aside from further usage. We will make sure it gets collected and replaced by a new similar container.
